Inspired by traditional North African weaving, the Merseyside Berber-Style Rug uses undyed flecked yarns to hide lint and pet hair between cleans. The chunky loop pile is forgiving underfoot while remaining tight enough that chair casters and vacuum heads glide across without snagging.
A heavy hessian backing grips underlay firmly and prevents the creeping that plagues lighter rugs on smooth floors. The neutral oatmeal and taupe palette complements both warm brick and cool painted walls common in Liverpool Victorian and Edwardian homes.
